  • Frame Relay juga memiliki kemampuan multilink yakni membundle beberapa link serial menjadi satu
  • Kita juga bisa menambahkan authentikasi pada interface multilink frame-relay tersebut

Metode Lab

  • Sambungkan dua link serial pada setiap router
  • Konfigurasikan Multilink
  • Konfigurasikan Authentifikasi

Verifikasi Lab
Pastikan ketika pada RM-R1 link local S0/0 ke Frame Relay Switch down, link akan berpindah ke backupnya

Kita bisa juga menerapkan authentifikasi pada frame relay, yakni dengan mengkonfigurasikan PPP over Frame Relay, selain itu kita juga bisa membundle beberapa linknya dengan PPP multilink.

Pada PPP, username harus menggunakan hostname lawanya. Jika kita ingin menggunakan username yang lain, konfigurasikan sebagai berikut.
