Metode Lab

  • Pada RM-R1 gunakan sub interface, dynamic mapping
  • Pada RM-R2 gunakan main interface, static mapping

Verifikasi Lab
pastikan pada RM-R1 frame-relay mapnya POINT-TO-POINT pada sub-interfacenya

Disisi RM-R1 sub-interface dynamic Mapping, sedangkan di sisi RM-R2 Main-interface, static mapping

RM-R1(config-subif)#int s0/0
RM-R1(config-if)#encapsulation frame-relay
RM-R1(config-if)#interface s0/0.2 point-to-point
RM-R1(config-subif)#ip address 12.12.12.1 255.0.0.0  
RM-R1(config-subif)#frame-relay interface-dlci 102

RM-R2(config)#int s0/0
RM-R2(config-if)#ip addr 12.12.12.2 255.0.0.0
RM-R2(config-if)#encapsulation frame-relay
RM-R2(config-if)#frame-relay map ip 12.12.12.1 201 broadcast

Cek mappingnya
RM-R1(config-fr-dlci)#do sh frame-relay map
Serial0/0.2 (up): point-to-point dlci, dlci 102(0x66,0x1860), broadcast
          status defined, active

RM-R2(config-if)#do sh frame-relay map
Serial0/0 (up): ip 12.12.12.1 dlci 201(0xC9,0x3090), static,
              broadcast,
              CISCO, status defined, active

Description
RM-R1 : point-to-point subinterface, tidak butuh mapping ke ip tertentu
RM-R2 : main interface, static mapping
